Duties: Primary: Collect & analyze vibration data on a variety of industrial equipment (motors, fans, pumps, gearboxes, etc.) Understand spectral and time-waveform components for identifying faults Perform bump tests to determine natural frequencies Perform cross-phase analysis to determine comparative motion and differentiate similar faults Perform infrared thermography surveys on low and medium voltage electrical systems. Collect oil samples on a variety of industrial equipment (hydraulic systems, bearing housings, gearboxes, etc.) Collect deenergized electrical test data on low and medium voltage motor starter circuits (resistance to ground, resistance phase to phase, inductance phase to phase, capacitance to ground). Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Responsibilities Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
