SPECIFIC DUTIES:
* Dust mop all tile and wood floor areas and vacuum all carpeted areas. Use damp mop and spot clean, where necessary, to remove excess soiling. Move furniture, where necessary, to clean thoroughly. Replace furniture in regular positions.
* Refill all towels, toilet tissue, soap and sanitary napkin dispensers
* Make sure all windows and doors are closed and locked; all necessary fans and lights are turned off.
* Remove garbage and recyclables from cafeteria after each lunch period when on duty.
* Raise and lower the American flag.
* Assist in the receipt and delivery of supplies throughout the building.
* Remove all graffiti from furniture
* Remove gum deposits.
* Remove markings and smudges from painted and tile walls.
* Clean door glass and frames of smudges and fingerprints.
* Dust furniture, window ledges, shelves, maps, globes, charts, display cases, bleachers (clean under bleachers at this time), lockers, etc.
* Replace mops and supplies in closets (towels, tissues, soap, germicidal detergent disinfectant, light bulbs, stripper and floor finish).
* Scrub walls of shower rooms with germicidal cleaner.
* Perform all reasonable requests made and discuss any complications with the supervisor.
* Perform such other duties in the performance of the general responibility as may be necessary or desirable as assigned by the building or night foreman.

Must know how to prepare boilers for NJ State Inspections, including refractory work, cleaning, and installing new seals on the shell of the boiler and water side inspection ports.
Must be able to replace bearings and centrifugal pumps, change bearings on fan systems, motors, pumps, and shafts.
Knowledge to operate Boiler plants and Chiller plants to maintain system temperatures and equipment runtimes through the Metasys System and Auto-Flame.
Must be able to service, install, repair, evacuate, recharge and replace refrigeration systems including split systems, chillers, packaged units, ERV Units, etc.
Must be capable of troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC equipment, Boilers, Air conditioning equipment, unit ventilators, and package units
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform other physical work inside and outside under varying weather conditions.
Ability to work from a ladder.
Must be able to use necessary tools and operate various equipment properly and safely.
