RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead Mortenson's quality system on medium to large projects
* Develop and implement Quality Management Plan from start to finish

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field
* Minimum three years' experience in the design, engineering, or construction industry with experience leading a project's quality system
* Strong attention to detail to organize and manage multiple project tasks
* Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Primavera Unifier
* Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
* Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
* Knowledge of one or more quality systems: i.e., Malcolm Baldridge, ISO 9000, Lean, Kaizen, Army Corps of Engineers, Mortenson's Quality System, continuous improvement, value streams, etc
* Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
* Ability to travel up to 75%

Leading and coordination of due diligence for permitting and code compliance requirements that apply to each project.
Ensure regulatory approvals and permits are obtained
Manage and/or attend project site visits as necessary during the pursuit and design phase

Coordination and management of the proposal process during an active RFP

1+ years of experience leading teams and project scope
Experienced in electrical power engineering theories and principles
