This position will be based in Columbia, SC and will be provided with company-generated leads but those leads need to supplemented by self-generated referral business. Compensation will be base pay and commission based with the ability to earn up to $100K+ annually! The Loan Originator will be responsible for interviewing new and existing customers to determine their financial needs and advising those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing. The Loan Originator will navigate the borrower through the process and help to gather required information through clear and timely communication. The Loan Originator is the first line of defense for the company and its investors, he or she is responsible for the submission of clear accurate loan documentation and maintaining industry compliance regulations. The Loan Originator must ensure appropriate procedures are followed while meeting sales goals and objectives.

Job Requirements:

  • Established relationships with local referral networks

This position receives a robust number of leads that are generated internally by branch referrals so consistent follow-up with members during the origination process is expected.
