Morton Buildings company history timeline

1903

The business began in 1903 as the Interlocking Fence Co., a mail-order outfit that sold fencing to farmers.

1950

A customer address book initiated in 1950 revealed that seventy-two (72) buildings were erected in the area serviced by the Interlocking Fence stores.

It began producing a pre-engineered farm machine storage building in 1950.

1955

Pole buildings were added to Interlocking Fence's offerings in 1955.

1968

Since that tragic day in May of 1968, countless customers who experienced similar damage received the same treatment.
