Morton County Health System company history timeline

1968

In 1968, the facility reopened as Moton Health Center, was an ambulatory care center.

1978

Over the generations to follow, the community grew and in 1978, a hospital district was formed to ensure the community would ensure its healthy future for generations more to follow.

1998

In 1998, the Robert Moton High School was recognized as a National Historic Landmark.

2002

In 2002, the East Tulsa Family Health Center began to serve the growing Hispanic and Asian communities in east Tulsa.

Also, in 2002, the Nowata Family Health Center offered services to the local community and surrounding counties in northeastern Oklahoma.

2007

The community celebrated the grand opening of the new hospital in January 2007.

2019

In January 2019, the district adopted a new parent name, Arbor Health, reflecting the philosophy that our network of care is truly better together, ensuring compassionate, professional health care right here at home.
