This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a world-renowned academic environment, where as the Application Integration Specialist, one will support the completion of a strategic Single Sign-On (SSO) migration initiative.

What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the migration of SSO integrations from the legacy in-house SSO backend (Shibboleth) to Okta SAML-based authentication.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (application owners, business units, and IT staff) to schedule, prioritize, and execute migrations.
Liaise with university's technology for alignment with institutional identity and access management standards.
Work directly with vendor technical support teams to troubleshoot and configure SAML integration parameters (metadata exchange, attribute mapping, certificates, etc.).
Configure and test application connections within Okta, ensuring secure and seamless authentication experiences.
Perform release validation and document testing outcomes prior to go-live.
Track progress and maintain documentation of configurations, communications, and migration milestones.
