As a Software Technician, you will execute test cases and protocols to verify software functionality, using numerous testing methods including functional, integration, and system testing. They are looking for someone who is a quick learner, self-motivated, diligent, detailed oriented, and can work independently and function well within a team.
Responsibilities
Execute test protocols on robotic hardware
Perform and document equipment qualifications and test method validations
Document test data and results in excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint slides, and word documents
Document test anomalies for further investigation
Evaluate test success and perform basic data analysis
Provide feedback to engineers on test procedures and equipment
Report progress and problems to team lead
Manages inventory and consumable materials
Coordinates and maintains team's general safety training of the test lab
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of hands-on software testing experience preferably with complex medical devices and/or electro-mechanical systems
Computer literacy (Excel, ideally some experience with command line interface / Linux environments)
Proven ability to learn in fast-paced work environment
Ability to self-manage time and priorities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Perform load calculations and system type evaluations to support project development.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
California professional engineering license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing design.
Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
Familiarity with energy analysis tools and techniques, including Trace 700.
Strong understanding of local building codes and installation standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with LEED and green building practices is a plus.
