The primary duties associated with this position include: Assisting the Project Architect with client/project coordination; project management. This will include analyzing building/zoning code; outlining document contents with half-size sets and specification outline; continually reviewing compliance with design intent, use of materials, and coordination with specifications; reviewing the work of consultants for coordination purposes; reviewing documents with building inspectors; responding to bid inquiries regarding pre-bid approvals; and preparing contract document agenda. Providing assistance in construction administration with the supervision of the Project Manager. This will include reporting on progress meetings; maintaining project status manual; preparing project correspondence; conducting on-site observations; preparing observation reports; providing additional services such as proposal requests, change orders or revisions to project scope; and reviewing submittals. Assisting with project close-out efforts including punch lists. Meeting with governmental agencies or officials for purposes of approvals and permits.
