Summary:
Performs ICT and functional Go/No Go testing on systems assemblies, subassemblies, printed circuit boards and products utilizing test equipment and a variety of test instruments and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Sets up test equipment; Understands the test and assembly processes for each type of board or systems/subassembly tested
* Operates test equipment requiring basic computer skills and the knowledge of test programs so that proper identification and interpretation of failure parameters can be recorded and entered into the Quality Management System (PFS)
* Identifies component types and read component values or integrated circuits (ICS), resistors, capacitors, etc.
* Identifies, by sight or with appropriate devices, workmanship and material defects and affix appropriate marking or defect tags in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures
* Follows step-by-step procedure while performing various duties such as frequency and/or voltage adjustment and observe meter reading to determine whether the item being tested meets minimum requirements specified in test procedure or test program
* Maintains records of unit tested, accepted or rejected, utilizing statistical process control charts
* Applies basic to intermediate knowledge of applicable specification and normal product standards to the performance of individual electrical test
* All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.
* Independently configure and operate test equipment and interpret basic test results; learn to relate the results to the specific PCB area to inspect for manufacturing defects
* Make verbal or written reports on test finding for the purpose of improving test procedures or test equipment
* If working with printed circuit boards, perform troubleshooting activities up to PCA level following techniques and procedures as defined by test engineering
* Assist in the mentoring and developing of other testers when needed
* Assist engineers and test technicians as requested and under their guidance
Other information:
* 2+ years of advanced electronic test (i.e. FCT/HASS)
* Ability to use hand tools and general test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscope, power supplies, etc.) if working with electronic components
* Demonstrate basic knowledge operating DMMs to verify possible opens, short, resistance and diode check in working with electronic components
* Ability to read and understand schematics, drawings, assembly prints, procedures, specifications and other documentation describing electronic assemblies if working with components
* Comply with BEI quality assurance policies and methodologies; understand and use IPC quality and workmanship standards; develop a strong quality orientation

What You Will Do
Handle hazardous waste according to management rules and place it in appropriate containers.
Receive job assignments and instructions from Test Supervisors and Project Engineers.
Read and interpret test requests and assembly blueprints; seek clarification if needed.
Retrieve and assemble test hardware; take required weights and measurements.
Install sensors and gauges (e.g., thermocouples, accelerometers, pressure gauges) as required.
Set up and connect hydraulic and electrical test hardware.
Set up test equipment and program data acquisition systems and machine controls.

Disassemble and store test setups and hardware safely and orderly.

Operate tow motors or hand trucks to support testing.
Perform and log routine preventive maintenance.

Retrieve items from the tool crib and complete necessary forms/transactions.
You will be required to perform mathematical calculations requiring addition, subtraction, multiplication or division and pass a pre-employment qualification test.
You will be required to perform substantial reaching and moving while standing, twisting; stooping; and be response to sounds associated to the work environment.
You will be required to lift to 25 lbs. unassisted, anything over 25 lbs. would be assisted.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment as required.

**Your Impact**

**What You'll Do**
+ Serve as a technical expert for advanced packaging technologies (2.5D/3D, heterogeneous integration, large body packaging, MCM, flip-chip) providing guidance and problem-solving expertise in areas such as package design, materials, process development, assembly, and reliability

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or a closely related field
+ 7+ years of progressive experience in Semiconductor Packaging and Assembly Industry, with demonstrated experience leading technical projects or initiatives
+ Proven experience in advanced package assembly and integration and package reliability qualification.
+ Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of advanced packaging process (e.g. CoWoS, RDL Fan-out and silicon embedded) and materials.
+ Good understanding of package design and material selection for thermal performance and signal/power integrity.
+ Expertise in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, FMEA, statistical process control) and data analysis skills

+ Experience with volume manufacturing

+ .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
+ 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
+ 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and
+ Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

You will be a Test Operator for our Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for performing recurring testing operations on a variety of electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware to ensure conformance with technical and operational requirements.

• Setting up, calibrating, and operating test equipment.
• Following detailed test procedures and work instructions, documenting results in electronic tracking systems.

Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and can obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Ability to use scopes, multimeters, power generators, Torque and Precision measuring tools in the testing and verification of electrical, electronic, and electro-optical assemblies. Ability to apply epoxy / adhesives as per written directions.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and policies, as directed thru computer software, Functional Test Plans, and manufacturing Process Plans.
- Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs
- Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, or "D" shift (3 x 12 hrs F/Sa/Su) as required in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.
Desired skills
1) Prior experience with testing / troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and/or optical hardware.
2) Two-year degree in electronics, or one-year technical schooling in electronics and one year test experience, or two years military service with electronic schooling and applied test experience.
3) Strong interpersonal communication and teaming skills.
4) Critical thinking and problem solving.
5) Familiarity with automated and manual test equipment.
6) Active DOD Secret Clearance
