What Does A Motor Transport Operator Do At Humana

* The Dispatcher plans, organizes and coordinates the volume of patient trip and requests throughout the day.
* Enforces the Transportation rules, regulations and procedures to be able to control the daily operation while the Drivers are on the road.
* The Dispatcher is the first contact with the Driver, maintains constant communication by telephone with the Drivers; he/she is the responsible for reporting transit accidents or incidents; any vehicles malfunctioning, Driver misconduct, or any other incident.
* Operates a computer software program to be able to maintain current transportation information log up to date, monitors the GPS display screen to pin point exact locations of all vehicles through the day.
