Headquartered in Bucyrus, OH, this essential position offers training on livestock movement and a supportive team-focused atmosphere. A Day in the Life: Our part time livestock transport specialist generally works daytime hours M-F, ensuring you have evenings and weekends for family time ( some flexibility is required based on load schedules and optimal temperatures for transport of animals ). Primary responsibilities include: Transporting pigs between facilities in our system Assisting with loading and unloading of animals Ensuring trailers are properly prepared to provide a safe and healthy environment for the animals being moved Washing trailers to maintain our high standards for cleanliness and herd safety What You Need: Candidates must not currently own or have routine contact with non-Hord pigs Ability to lift 55 lbs., climb, bend, and sit for extended periods of time Time management skills to ensure loads move on schedule A high level of respect for team members and animals Impeccable record of reliability/dependability Willingness to learn and carry out complex instructions effectively Basic knowledge of Windows, Excel, and email functions Clean driving record is a must Minimum 2 years driving experience Your Rewards: Competitive Wages 401(k) with company match Financial planning assistance Opportunities for continued personal and professional development We look forward to talking to you more in depth about the opportunities at HORD!
