Shift Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm EST Location: Remote, USA Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Compiles data from various Cencora Corporation (ABC) Client Relationship or Transportation Management systems which include but not limited to: SAP, TMS, and other systems or data sources as needed including carrier platforms. Evaluates business processes and designs, develops and provides data that assists in the implementation of improvements that reduce cost, improve effectiveness and improves the quality or magnitude of the result. Examines transportation network delivery accuracy and recommends parcel volume optimization across small parcel carriers and service levels, executing plans to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency. Develop transportation related databases as required for specific business needs with a focus on small parcel shipment tracking and reporting. Develop and analyze daily/weekly/monthly transportation KPIs (key performance indicators) including small parcel cost, delivery performance, and exception management. Small parcel and Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipment planning, forecasting, and carrier selection to optimize cost and service. Create/prepare and gather data and requirements for transportation request for proposal's (RFP's) and carrier conversions. Develops new solutions to various challenges ABC faces as it relates to the distribution of product to external and internal customers, meeting business objectives. Trains others in the solutions designed to manage the processes necessary to support the distribution operations. Works with carriers and Transportation Manager as needed to improve various aspects of performance. Performs small package and LTL rate and service analyses on as needed basis. Interacts with carriers and Transportation Managers to improve service reporting ability. Updates internal transportation website as needed. Manage and update Parcel Cost Savings tracker to identify and report on small parcel cost reduction opportunities. Identify opportunities for consolidation of shipments across all transportation modes with a focus on small parcel and LTL shipment consolidation and optimization. Ability to prepare swim lane and process flow documents and communicate effectively to various business groups. Manage and submit vendor invoices for payment. Support and respond to transportation-related inquiries from multiple business units and internal stake holders. Experience and Educational Requirements: Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Exposure to courier industry and/or pool distribution environments helpful, small package, LTL, and TL experience a plus. Experience in the preparation of, or responding to, RFP's and RFQ's in a transportation environment.     The Substitute Transit Vehicle Operator at Pike CAC will work closely with the Transportation Operations Manager, Transit Operations Specialist, and Transit Operations Clerk to provide safe and reliable transportation to Pike County. Functional Area: Transit Operations Estimated Effort: 60% * Drive safely in various settings including, but not limited to, large cities, interstate, highways, and rural areas. * Complete bus driver training courses, meetings, or conferences through the Ohio Department of Transportation or its affiliate related to the job duties of the CATS position. * Maintain required records and handle confidential information in a professional manner. * Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with customers and promote a positive reflection of CAC and CATS. * Attend mandatory driver meetings and complete trainings as assigned by the Transportation Operations Manager or the Director of Senior and Transportation Programs. * Provide coverage as needed in the CATS office answering phones, scheduling, and dispatching. * Report hazardous road conditions to dispatcher. * Assist with training new staff as assigned by the Transportation Operations Manager. * Demonstrate proficiency with the use of tablet, iPad, and commercial 2-way radio.
