Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our West Projects Presale Engineering team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain knowledge in RF Design and coverage modeling, proposal generation as well as exposure to the selling process. The intern will work alongside experienced RF engineers, contributing to real-world projects and learning about the full presale process.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the sales opportunity and gather necessary project and customer requirements
* Perform Site visits when needed.
* Utilize tools to create RF coverage propagation maps
* Utilize configurator tool to create equipment list BOMs
* Create system block and rack drawings
* Describe system design (system descriptions)
* Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
* Completed coursework in RF and Wireless Circuits, Communication Systems, or IT Networking highly desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Attention to detail and a drive to create high quality designs
