Job Description
A Sales Systems Engineer partners closely with customers and the sales team, delivering customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the communications and situational awareness challenges that our customers face. Working within a team of sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources, the Sales Systems Engineer Intern is the overall owner of the solution's technical design, ensuring we meet our customers' needs. As an engineering intern, you will work within the engineering team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges that our customers face.
The team concentrates on the following mission-critical communications technologies at various levels of complexity:

Essential Functions:

Monitors specific security indicators periodically to alert TGC to potential security risks. Responsible for protecting The Guthrie Clinic against the misuse or theft of services by ensuring that the appropriate safeguards are activated on the Avaya PBX system.
Performs capacity planning as it pertains to Avaya PBX hardware components, lines, trunks, etc. Monitors incoming and outgoing traffic to ensure the efficient and optimal use of the lines. Makes recommendations to management for the addition of lines and PBX hardware components where appropriate.
