Job Description
Who You'll Work With
The Commodity Manager is responsible to develop Arista's commodity strategies for Thermal / Heat Sinks (experience with Front end Power Supplies is a plus) in order to drive time to market, continuity of supply and meet cost reduction initiatives. You'll work across the supply chain to support operations and will be collaborating closely with Engineering on sourcing strategies.
The role will require the individual to be familiar with the complete range of strategic sourcing activities. This includes the analysis of spend, the formulation of and implementation of commodity strategies, the negotiation of contracts and the ongoing management of strategic supplier relationships.
What You'll Do
Creates, implements, and maintains sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to support company requirements.
Undertakes spend analysis, supplier assessment and supplier selection to agreed processes.
Develops and implements commodity strategies in line with company and manufacturing initiatives to improve supply chain efficiencies and reduce the total cost of supply chainmanagement.
Builds cost models (TAC/should cost) to validate commodity strategies and to understand cost drivers.
Coordinates all activities with Engineering, NPI, and suppliers to ensure the selection of parts with long lifetimes and solid supply availability.
Working with the site supply chain leads, this individual will manage relationships with suppliers on behalf of Arista.

Monitors/reports on priority projects and savings.
Ensures that agreed strategic sourcing targets for cost reduction are met in the commodity portfolio. This includes responsibility for meeting improvement plan targets and year on year cost reductions.
Provides support to NPI teams as required to meet target costs and establish program cost models.
Negotiations and management of cost models for suppliers to include "hard" money (such as price, volume discounts, etc.) and "soft" money (such as expertise, technical backup, etc.) in the context of Total Acquisition Cost (TAC) and Total Opportunity Cost (TOC).
Identification and delivery of opportunities for cost reduction.
Provides input for annual and long-term savings targets.
Trains/Mentors junior supply chain personnel on strategic sourcing process.
Ensures appropriate performance measure (Technology, Quality, Cost and Delivery) of supply base and feedback of results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply ChainManagement, Operations or Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years' experience in a networking environment (preferred), electronics or electrical, purchasing, commodity management and materials management positions. CPIM, CIRM, and/or C.P.M. desired.
Excellent Program and Project Management Skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
Utilize strong team building abilities to lead cross-functional process improvement teams and lead change within the organization. Ability to coordinate cross-site, multi-functional objectives.
Ability to interface and positively influence at all levels through excellent communication skills.
Understanding of assigned commodities, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong PC application skills. Including complement of Microsoft Office Software, with strong capabilities in Project and Access.
Compensation Information
The new hire base pay for this role has a pay range of $142,000 to $188,000.
Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista's Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. **Skills, Experience and Requirements**

Regional Retail Director
The Regional Retail Director is responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and compliance of both our Washington, DC and Maryland cannabis retail locations. This role ensures that each store meets or exceeds sales goals, adheres to company policies and state/local cannabis regulations, maintains excellent customer service standards, and develops high-performing leadership teams. The ideal individual has multi-unit retail leadership experience, a passion for the cannabis industry, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, team development, and business strategy.
Your role in caring for our company:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Store Management & Execution
Partner with our Regional Purchasing Manager to source and negotiate with regional vendors and licensed cannabis brands.
Build strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, priority access to top products, and marketing support.
Evaluate product performance and manage the SKU lifecycle.
Forecast product demand using sales data, trends, and seasonal factors.
Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis purchasing regulations.
Develop and implement regional merchandising plans that align with brand standards and drive sell-through.
Collaborate with retail operations and marketing teams on promotional calendars, displays, and in-store signage.
Regularly audit stores for merchandising consistency and effectiveness.
Partner with inventory teams to maintain appropriate stock levels, reduce overstocks, and limit shrinkage.
Monitor product turnover and initiate markdowns or promotions as needed.
Work with data analysts, store managers, and marketing teams to inform buying decisions and promotional strategies.
Provide training and insights to store staff on new product lines and merchandising initiatives.
Community/Smoke Lounge Development & Implementation
Lead the planning, development, and launch of community/smoke lounge operations in Washington, DC, in alignment with local laws and company vision.
Partner with senior leadership to secure necessary permits and ensure the lounge operates within regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, and store management to build out the lounge experience, including layout, ambiance, menu offerings, and customer flow.
Define and implement SOPs for lounge operations, staffing, guest safety, ventilation, consumption limits, and product tracking.
Develop marketing and customer engagement strategies to drive traffic and establish the lounge as a premium brand experience.
Track lounge performance metrics (e.g., guest satisfaction, revenue, dwell time) and continuously optimize operations for profitability and customer appeal.
Serve as the primary liaison between senior leadership and store management to ensure a seamless and consistent retail-lounge integration.
Team Leadership & Performance Analytics
Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.
Understand and own every aspect of the retail team's performance; set targets, drive execution, and hold the team accountable for both individual and team results.
Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.
Partner with the Human Resources Department to monitor staff performance, provide timely feedback, along with development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance evaluations, and administer salary adjustments.
Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.
Manage employee's scheduling, basic time off requests, performance reviews, etc.
