Job Summary
Communicate diet orders for each meal to department Data Center. Implement diet orders, check to be sure there is a tray for each patient with the correct diet order. Obtain trays from tray line for new admissions or patients whose diets have consistently advanced in diet orders. Prepare and serve trays; prepare and serve coffee/tea; add ice cream/yogurt from galley freezer, garnish tray and remove all wrappings from tray and assist patients in opening milk, juice, and condiments. Collect dirty trays. Give patients menu selection sheet, sheet with daily specials and explain how patient is to select food. Assist patients unable to complete selection sheet independently. Employ Excellent Encounter skills of customer service. Clean galley after each meal served, complete special cleaning designated days. May inventory and order nourishments and supplements to be passed to patients between meals or put on their trays the following day. Discard outdated nourishments or supplements. May inventory and order supplies for the nursing nourishment area. Pick supplies up in the department Service Center, put the supplies away, and rotate all perishable items. Maintains strong and effective working relationship with co-workers. Maintain strong rapport with staff on the unit. Communicate to clinical dietitian any information related to the patient's ability or willingness to eat. May orient or train new employees within the department. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in the department. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patients' status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs. The graduate trainee shall:

Job Summary
Mass General Brigham Home Care provides non-acute, medically necessary skilled care in the home to help "homebound" patients recover from illness or injury and manage exacerbations of chronic disease. Services include skilled nursing care (IV drug administration, injections, tube feeding, wound care, care plan education), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, medical social services, and as needed medical supplies.
Qualifications
Perform paraprofessional home health aide services by following a written plan of care. Work is performed under the supervision of a primary nurse or therapist. HHA will provide personal care and related activities of daily living services for patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Reports and documentation will be prepared, and regulatory and agency guidelines will be followed.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Employee Relations and Professionalism, this role independently advises executive clinical, research, and operational leaders and HR colleagues regarding routine and complex faculty and trainee employee and labor relations issues, including workplace complaints, performance concerns, and accommodation requests. Advises on the interpretation of personnel policies, labor contracts, medical staff by-laws, and state/federal employment laws. Position Overview
Workplace Investigations
* Conducts sensitive, confidential, objective and thorough investigations regarding topics including but not limited to discrimination basis of protected class, harassment, retaliation, violence in the workplace, substance abuse, abusive conduct, asset or drug diversion, and compliance and privacy breaches. Reviews cases with Director of Employee Relations and Professionalism, as appropriate, to determine investigation approach.
* Prepares reports of investigatory findings, presents findings to leaders, and makes recommendations regarding remedial actions.
* Consults with leaders on conflict resolution and involve resources such as OMCOSS, EAP and/or DEI as appropriate.
* Assesses and addresses concerns related to authorship, research integrity, intellectual property disputes, as appropriate.

Religious, Disability, and Pregnancy Accommodations
* Manages religious, disability, and pregnancy accommodation requests for medical staff and research faculty personnel, including facilitation of the interactive dialog process.

* Provides counsel to leaders, physicians, advanced practice providers, researchers and trainees, including POIs, on:

* Partners with the MGB Employee Relations and Labor Strategy Center of Excellence, the Office of General Counsel, Patient Safety and Risk, Patient Family Relations, Privacy and Compliance, etc., as needed, on complex employee and labor relations cases.
* Supports MGB Employee Relations and Labor Strategy Center of Excellence and the Office of General Counsel with the preparation of a response to complaints filed with the MCAD, EEOC or other government agencies. Attends and/or testifies at hearings and arbitrations, as appropriate.
* Supports the Office of General Counsel with the preparation of reports to the Board of Registration in Medicine and/or NIH, as needed.
Labor Relations:
* Supports the grievance and arbitration process, and maintains positive employee relations and labor-management relations.
* Prepares, interprets, processes and educates around changes to collective bargaining agreements and contract negotiations.
* Provides guidance regarding contract and non-contract issues, including but not limited to discipline, grievance and arbitration resolution, employment terms and conditions, problem-solving and contract administration.
* Partners with MGB Employee Relations and Labor Strategy Center of Excellence, the Office of General Counsel, and leaders to support response to any labor organizing activities related to physicians, advanced practice providers, researchers and research fellows.
Data & Analytics:
* Using data including all workforce dashboards - identifies gaps, themes, trends and root causes impacting effective performance or delivery of services.
* Using data and analytics, provides guidance and direction to leaders to support a positive physician, advanced practice providers, research and trainee personnel work and/or learning experience and environment.
* Under the guidance of Employee and Labor Relations leadership, facilitates and/or conducts climate surveys to assess the general environmental tone within a department or between departments to determine areas of faculty and/or trainee concern. Partners with Strategic HRBP and appropriate leadership to develop action plans to address identified issues.
Improvement Design:
* Develops action plans and works with Strategic HRBP and People & Organizational Development (P&OD) to address workplace and/or employee engagement concerns.
* Educates physician, advanced practice providers, research and trainee personnel, and leaders at all levels about effective management practices and leadership styles.
Subject Matter Expertise/Other:

The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider. The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of a population of patients being evaluated for or diagnosed with peripheral vascular disease, requiring medical and/or surgical management, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care, and ongoing evaluation. The Physician Assistant will function in a clinical care role in partnership with vascular & endovascular surgery clinicians and other key stakeholders. The role is predominantly based out of Brigham & Women's Hospital (Boston) with time allocated to community-based Mass General Brigham Healthcare Centers located in Chestnut Hill and Foxborough.
Qualifications
Clinical Duties:
Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to the peripheral vascular disease patient population primarily in the ambulatory setting, but may also require occasional work in the inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
Performs complete history and physical examinations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
Consistently provides high quality and timely documentation including consult notes, progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and admission/discharge summaries.
Performs procedures as appropriate to the patient population, including but not limited to venous care and temporal artery biopsies.
Participates in the Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider of the Day urgent care coverage.

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Mass Eye and Ear (MEE) Ambulatory Infection Control & High-Level Disinfection/Sterilization (HLDS) Manager is a key leader within these academic medical centers, advancing a culture of safety through evidence-based infection prevention practices, high-reliability process oversight, and expert-level management of HLDS standards. This individual serves as a strategic partner across clinical and operational teams-bridging performance improvement with regulatory excellence, surveillance science, and frontline education. In addition to primary and specialty outpatient clinics, the ambulatory areas of these facilities include large community health centers, ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), and multiple Mass General Brigham (MGB) Cancer Institute locations, with the clinical profile of these areas including an ever-growing array of numerous, complex procedures.
Reporting to the MGH-MEE Senior Manager of Infection Control , the manager oversees site-specific infection prevention programs, ensures rigorous compliance with HLDS requirements, and helps shape institutional policy, training, and safety initiatives to safeguard patients, staff, and the academic mission.
Essential Functions
Infection Prevention & Program Leadership
* Leads and coordinates the MGH and MEE Ambulatory Infection Control program, ensuring alignment with academic medical center standards, research demands, and teaching priorities.
* Develops, implements, and evaluates the program, with special emphasis on HLDS and device reprocessing.
* Conducts needs and risk assessments and to support infection control at MGH and MEE ambulatory sites, including ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs).
* Implements systemwide infection prevention and HLDS goals at the site level, ensuring adherence to clinical, administrative, and regulatory requirements.
HLDS Oversight
* Oversees and evaluates compliance with HLDS policies, procedures, competencies, and quality monitoring across departments.
* Partners with the Central Sterile Processing and Supply (CSPS) department, procedural areas, and clinical leadership to ensure safe, consistent device reprocessing practices.
* Supports readiness for inspections, accreditation surveys, and regulatory reviews related to infection prevention and HLDS.
* Leads performance improvement initiatives aimed at reducing reprocessing failures and improving workflow, traceability, and safety culture.
Surveillance, Reporting & Outbreak Response
* Ensures comprehensive surveillance, remediation, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections, including outbreak detection and response.
* Supports reporting of communicable disease cases to appropriate public health authorities.
* Serves as liaison between the site and regulatory/public health agencies, representing the organization on external committees when needed.
Education, Training & Stakeholder Collaboration
* Plans and delivers site-specific education on infection prevention, HLD standards, and device reprocessing best practices.

Qualifications
Education

Experience

The Clinical Research Assistant II (CRA II), to be based in the Osher Center's Mind-Body-Movement Laboratory, will work directly with the Principal Investigator (PI) and Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Health to advance the Center by performing a variety of tasks. The Center is based in the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. The CRA II will play an integral role in two ongoing projects in integrative health research:
Qualifications
1. Acupoint Sensitization in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD):
This is a clinical and translational (C/T) study aimed at addressing knowledge gaps surrounding the biology and scientific basis of acupoints. Based on prior preclinical studies demonstrating cutaneous sensitization or neurogenic inflammation at specific acupoint locations in animal models of colitis, we aim to translate these findings in humans subjects by investigating cutaneous (acupoint) sensitization in IBD.
Specific to this project, the CRA II will assist with:
* Conducting laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) and infrared thermography to measure cutaneous blood perfusion and temperature, respectively
* Performing pressure pain threshold (PPT) assessments
* Coordinating the collection and storage of biospecimens, including stool and blood samples
2. Effect of Photobiomodulation (PBM) on Stress Physiology:
This is a sham-controlled, within-subjects clinical study aimed at evaluating whether or how PBM, a light-based therapy, affects heart rate variability (HRV) under acute stress.
Specific to this project, the CRA II will assist with:
* Setting up and conducting clinical evaluations, including the stress test, and the delivery of PBM or sham intervention
* Collecting HRV and other physiological data (e.g., electrodermal activity, blood pressure)

Position Summary:

The position will protect time for academic pursuits.
