Mount Carmel Pulmonology Group provides bronchoscopy procedural needs. Ohio Gastroenterology Group partners with Mount Carmel to provide all inpatient GI endoscopy procedural needs, as well as, inpatient and outpatient advanced endoscopy procedural needs.

The Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (SIMCU) at Mount Carmel East is 32 beds. The Registered Nurse (RN) would expect to see a mixture of post-surgical and trauma patients. This unit is great experience for new graduate RNs wanting to learn skills and/or see a wide variety of patient population. It can also make a great transition for those interested in the OR/PACU. There is also a vascular aspect mixed in and we work very closely with our vascular surgeons (Carotid Endarterectomy's, Endovascular AAA Repairs, Fem pops).
