As a Multimedia Sales Consultant you will serve as the primary link between the Kilgore News Herald and its advertising clients. Multimedia Sales Executives are responsible for the development, sale, and execution of short- and long-term marketing plans, budgets, and goals for their clients.
More than a newspaper, the Kilgore News Herald offers readers the opportunity to access news and advertising online via its website, social media (including Facebook and Twitter) or a digital E-Edition replica of the print edition on the papers free app. As a Multimedia Sales Consultant for this dynamic newspaper, you'll be able to offer clients advertising in any one or all of these paths to their customers.

Responsibilities:
• Aggressively develop strategies to sell print, digital and niche product advertising space to new and existing clients by in person and by phone by setting up sales presentations to enhance new and existing customer business.
• Actively seek and close new advertising revenue.
• Consistently meet individual goals.
• Accurately calculates rates and quotes for customers.
• Work closely with Creative Services team and sales assistants to develop effective ads for customers.
• Accurately take ad changes and cancellations with excellent attention to detail to reduce enhance customer relations.
• Inquire on billing information for customers as a service, with outstanding attention to detail.
• Keep up to date and informed on marketing and advertising trends, account activity and accuracy of billing through the M. Roberts Media billing system.
• Complete accurate insertion reports, expense reports, sales reports, and other reports as needed or required.
• Maintain all credits accurately and in reasonable proportion to the revenue generated.
• Maintain a high standard of reliability and foster a productive team atmosphere.
• Develop a good working relationship with all team members and managers while working to achieve personal, departmental, and company goals.
• Remain flexible in accepting new tasks assigned and changes in the market due to emergent media. Must be open minded in trying new ventures and revenue opportunities.
Requirements

We need someone who has:
High School Diploma or GED and six months of phlebotomy experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Associate degree from an accredited college or university is a plus.)
Certificate of Phlebotomy strongly preferred
EMT Certification or Licenses in a related field a plus
Must has a valid Texas Driver's license and maintain a good driving record according to Blood Center standards
Routine-must obtain a CDL within 1 year of employment
