Pros of working at Mount Sinai Health System

As part of the 1199 SEIU union, the benefits are outstanding. No co-pays, included vision and dental, tons of sick time and vacation time. You are well taken care of. Salaries are also higher than most hospital positions.

Cons of working at Mount Sinai Health System

The facade of being a hospital that values patient care, particularly for low-income people. Hospital admin and leadership are eliminating community programs left and right, and have been working hard to do away with any and all union positions in the hospital. The bottom line is really what they care about most.

Mount Sinai Health System benefits

Medical benefits and vacation time. Excellent salary.
