As part of the 1199 SEIU union, the benefits are outstanding. No co-pays, included vision and dental, tons of sick time and vacation time. You are well taken care of. Salaries are also higher than most hospital positions.
The facade of being a hospital that values patient care, particularly for low-income people. Hospital admin and leadership are eliminating community programs left and right, and have been working hard to do away with any and all union positions in the hospital. The bottom line is really what they care about most.
Medical benefits and vacation time. Excellent salary.
What I liked most about working there are the Company Culture, pay and benefits
I honestly don't have a dislike for anything at Mount Sinai. I wish I could work for them again
My favorite perk was the free lunches from the drug representatives and the healthcare benefits included with employment
I like how the company is about patient care
