This role is cross trained to provide strong operational continuity, maintain accurate inventory records, ensure timely courier completion, and support the needs of both the warehouse and courier teams. This position requires strong organization, mobility between duties, excellent communication, safe vehicle operation, and the ability to meet turnaround targets while providing professional client-facing experience. The role follows all regulatory and company standards, including safety, SOPs, documentation integrity, and confidentiality. Avero Diagnostics operates on a 24/7/365 basis; individuals may be required to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. It is required to have schedule flexibility with and without advanced notice. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Perform local courier routes including specimen pickups, client supply deliveries, and report drop-offs. Interact professionally with clinical and office staff at client locations. Safely operate company vehicles in various weather and road conditions and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness. Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, reporting discrepancies as needed. Process inventory transactions using company systems and maintain accurate stock records. Conduct cycle counts, monitor inventory levels, and help prevent overstock, stockouts, and waste due to expirations. Prepare, package, and label outbound client supply orders, following IATA and company packaging standards where applicable. Maintain department logs, shipment records, and notifications to internal partners such as procurement, sales, and client relations. Troubleshoot inventory or shipment issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Keep warehouse storage areas, vehicles, and workspaces clean and organized. Assist with preparing, relocating, and staging equipment, supplies, and materials as needed. Provide administrative support to supervisors, laboratory teams, and company departments when requested. Participate in cross-training, process improvement efforts, and contribute to continuity of operations. Follow all regulatory requirements, SOPs, confidentiality rules, company policies, and safety standards at all times. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record as determined by company insurance requirements. Employment may be contingent on background screening and insurance carrier approval. EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year experience in inventory operations, shipping/receiving, warehouse environments, courier services, or professional driving. Experience in medical, laboratory, or healthcare logistics is a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS This position operates in a fast-paced office and lab environment, requiring adherence to daily workload demands, potential exposure to chemicals, and the use of personal protective equipment and universal precautions. The role involves regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, printers, phones, and mobile devices, in a work environment with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud. Work performed in warehouse, laboratory, office, and vehicle environments. Exposure to chemicals, varying temperatures, and moderate-to-high noise levels. Use of PPE and adherence to universal precautions required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The position may require exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and negligible force constantly to move objects. Regular activities include talking, hearing, sitting, standing, walking, using hands to manage or feel, grasping, reaching, and performing repetitive movements with wrists, hands, and fingers.
