    Job Title: Fulltime LPN - Nights Department: Nursing Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer Perform professional nursing care within the LPN scope of practice to patients as assigned by the charge nurse and in accordance with hospital policies and outlined procedures. Duties & Responsibilities: Bedside patient care to include vital signs, assessments, administering medications. Assisting patients with ADL's to include bathing, dressing, eating and ambulation. Prepare equipment and assist the doctor during treatment and examination of patients. Communicates changes in patient behavior or condition to the charge nurse and or provider. Maintains accurate patient records. Delegates tasks to aides when appropriate. Supervises and assists with coordination of patient care activities, in conjunction with the RN. Follows orders written by provider and completes treatments as prescribed. Handles staff and/or patient-family problems and reports to the charge nurse as appropriate. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Maintains a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. Involved in providing patient education as directed by the RN. IV therapy for the LPNC. Restocking of supplies and checking outdates as needed and/or as assigned. Attends in-service and nursing staff meetings as scheduled. Wear appropriate uniforms that are clean and neat. Must observe good personal hygiene. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of recognized practical nursing program. Current Nebraska LPN licensure. Current BLS certified.
