About the role
The Principal Facilities Engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support to operating the Assai Renewal Natural Gas (RNG) plant located in Throop, PA.
A key asset for Archaea Energy, this facility converts landfill gas, collected at the landfill, into pipeline quality natural gas (High Btu or Renewable Natural Gas). The facility processes the landfill gas by removing the majority of the non-methane components including CO2, Nitrogen, water, sulfur and volatile and non-volatile organic compounds to attain pipeline quality gas.
The support will range from plant optimization to small upgrade projects. This role will work closely with Operations and Maintenance personnel at the plant in support of achieving plant runtime and production KPI's. They will also work closely with in-house Engineering teams and 3rd party Engineering Contractors to develop workpack deliverables for plant modifications. A key accountability will be maintaining and updating Process Safety Information for the plant.
The successful candidate must be able to report to the plant in Throop, PA at least 3 days per week. You must live near the site or be willing to relocate to report into the site to be considered for the role.
Key accountabilities
Lead the creation of MOC's to document plant modifications and upgrades
Work directly with 3rd-party engineering firms for engineering deliverables that are not internally generated
Work with plant PSM coordinator to ensure PSM deliverables are kept up to date
Review and approve major engineering submittals generated by 3rd parties
Provide engineering input into operating, maintenance, commissioning, and start-up procedures and strategies
Drive the right level of risk assessment for changes, from a Hazard Checklist to a HAZOP
Ensure designs are aligned with safety and long-term serviceability as top priorities
Act as a resource for new operators and technicians in the design and operation of the gas plant
Provide start-up support for plant upgrades
Essential education
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent in related field
Essential experience
More than 5 years experience with natural gas processing, refining, petrochemicals or related field.
Proven track record in practical application of engineering standards and practices for operating facilities (e.g. ASME, API)
Experience with designing & executing minor mechanical modifications and/or overseeing complex repair scopes
Experience and technical understanding of engineering, maintenance, and operation of gas processing equipment
Experience in root cause failure analysis
Proficient in working with PFDs and P&IDs.
Desirable criteria
Professional Engineering (PE) license
Experience with cryogenic gas plant operations
The following specific technical experience is desirable: gas processing/treating, gas compression equipment, pressure swing adsorption, flares and thermal oxidizers
Knowledge and understanding of fluid flow principles, thermal systems, pressure relief systems, mechanical design, and structural analysis
Understanding of ASME, AISC, OSHA, AGA & ASTM standards

A Day in the Life:
A technical sales role encompasses a wide variety of tasks where one day does not look exactly like the next. The projects our team handles are high in volume and unique from one another, spanning throughout the whole course of design, procurement, coordination, and post-sale support.
Typical tasks include:
Outside sales meetings and calls to build relationships with existing and new customers
Application engineering to apply our products using sound engineering principles
Project management of installations in progress - Managing schedules/plans to guarantee we can get equipment on site when the site needs it, in turn creating satisfied and returning customers.
Service and technical support of existing equipment
Supporting end users to maintain high levels of customer service, from assisting contractors with wiring on site to remote troubleshooting for staff in the kitchen.
Two to three full days per week in the office working on bids, one to two days on job sites, and dedicate another day to developing the territory. Territory development may include giving presentations to the engineering community, dropping off donuts to a new customer, or meeting a new contact with an existing customer.

About the Role
Ophelia Health is seeking a full-time Partnerships Manager to initiate and develop strong, lasting relationships with community partners to support patients with opioid use disorder (OUD). In this role, you will be the face of Ophelia in local communities, acting as the vital link between our organization and the community programs we partner with. Your mission is to ensure that Ophelia's innovative telehealth solutions for OUD are well-integrated and accessible within local communities by building awareness and relationships. By establishing trust and building bidirectional partnerships, you will help create a network of support that enhances our patients' treatment journey.

What you'll do:
Execute Outreach Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies to reach new markets, ensuring Ophelia's services are widely recognized and utilized across communities. Drive measurable outcomes to support organizational KPIs.
Build and Manage Referral Relationships: Engage with referral sources, including healthcare providers, community organizations, health systems, and other stakeholders to create strong, sustainable partnerships. Identify partners that are clinically and philosophically aligned with Ophelia.
Community Engagement: Spend the majority of your time in the field, meeting with healthcare providers, community leaders, patient advocates, and others to identify needs, remove barriers to treatment, and solidify Ophelia's presence.
Educational Outreach and Networking: Lead and participate in educational meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote Ophelia's services both in-person and virtually.
Feedback Integration: Collect and analyze feedback from community partners to refine Ophelia's referral strategies. Understand and articulate patient referral barriers to the broader internal team to build solutions for existing pain points.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Ophelia's marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to achieve outreach and market penetration goals.
What we're looking for:
Live in/near Scranton, Pennsylvania area
Able to travel locally with reliable transportation & valid drivers license ~4 days/week for meetings with partners
2-5 years of experience in a partnerships-oriented or business development-oriented role, focused on cultivating trust and mutually beneficial programs
Goal oriented, perceives challenges and unchartered territory as an opportunity for growth and learning
Skilled in independently crafting and executing outreach strategies, with a demonstrated ability to monitor performance metrics, adapt approaches as needed, and ensure objectives are achieved

Compensation is dynamic at Ophelia: as long as the company performs well and meets our targets, there will be opportunities for increased compensation annually. We're happy to discuss this approach and our bands if you have questions during the interview process.
