Assist vascular sonographers with patient preparation, positioning, and education prior to echocardiography exams.
Observe vascular procedures under supervision.
Learn to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for procedures under the guidance of supervising sonographers.

Performs Medical Record Reviews necessary to support quality initiatives and regulatory reporting, including but not limited to HEDIS reporting, CMS Star measures, FEHB measures, Medicaid, and supplemental data reporting. May be held to productivity standards as well as minimum over read standards.
Manage an assigned caseload of provider locations and provide verbal and written progress regarding status of each providers submission of requested medical records. Excellent communication and facilitation skills are keys to success.
Identify, analyze, and collect clinical information as it applies to HEDIS and NCQA requirements. *Identify probable findings indicated by clinical documentation in the medical record.
Documents abstracted findings into a HEDIS database tool.
Track and report on issues and outcomes related to abstractions and over-reads.
Integrate data collected from a variety of electronic and paper sources.

Responsibilities:
All Polysomnographic Technician duties.
Scores sleep studies.
Assists with the development/revision of Sleep Center policies and procedures.
Communicate with Sleep Center physicians regarding their patients and/or testing procedures.
Assists with training of Polysomnographic Trainees and Technicians, including overseeing testing performance.
Assists with Quality Monitoring.
Orders supplies.
Teaches patient PAP classes, as needed.
Performs as Charge Tech i.e. workload assignment, decision-making, end of shift report.
Assists with patient compliance program, as needed, including making patient follow-up contacts.
Attends inservices and meetings as required.
Qualifications:
High School or GED
BLS certification required at the time of hire.
Clinical Polysomnography program within 90 days of employment.
Graduated from an accredited educational program described in section 5 of the Polysomnographic Practice Act.
Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) required to obtain within 2 years of employment
NM Polysomnographic Temporary Permit required.
Or, Completion of Accredited educational program accredited by NBRC - National Board of Respiratory Care.
NM Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
