Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering program health services. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with medical policies based on Agency Policy, OPWDD, and other regulatory requirements. The RN position involves overseeing the medical and health-related needs of individuals receiving residential services, as well as providing in-service training and clinical supervision for staff in all medical matters.
Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements:
Candidates should be currently registered as a nurse with the NYS Department of Education and ideally have one year of experience working in a human services setting with individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with a basic knowledge of computer applications. A valid NYS driver's license is also required for this role.
