Ms. Benson is vice president, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer of Marathon Petroleum Corporation. She is also vice president and corporate secretary of MPLX GP LLC. Ms. Benson began her career with Marathon as a tax attorney in 1998. She was named Government Affairs manager in 2001 and joined the Law organization as an operations attorney in 2003. Ms. Benson was promoted to senior attorney, downstream business in 2006 and to group counsel, North American production for Marathon Oil Company in Houston in 2010. Ms. Benson was named Marathon Petroleum Corporation group counsel, Law - Corporate and Finance in 2011 and assistant general counsel, Law - Corporate and Finance in 2012. She assumed her current position in 2016. Ms. Benson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from The Ohio State University in 1987 and a juris doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1997. She completed the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Development Program at Northwestern University in 2014.

Timothy Aydt is an Exec VP:Pipelines Terminals & Marine/Chief Commercial Ofcr at MPLX LP and VP:Business Development at MPLX LP and is based in Detroit, Michigan. He has worked as Gen Mgr:Terminal Transport & Rail at Marathon Petroleum; Project Director at Marathon Petroleum; and Vice President, Operations at MPLX LP. Timothy studied at University of Missouri-Columbia, The Wharton School between 2014 and 2014, and Missouri University of Science and Technology.
