A Junior UX Designer Intern supports user research, wireframing, and prototyping efforts while assisting with UI design and usability testing. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining the design system, and contributing to task management. The intern gains hands-on experience in UX best practices, helps document design decisions, and receives mentorship from senior designers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Roles and Responsibilities
Working on the Xome API Portal UX//UI design
Collaboration with experienced senior design, product, and development team members
Documentation and reporting
Seek feedback from senior designers to improve design skills and knowledge
Help document user workflows, interactions, and visual design assets
Maintain organized records of project progress and design iterations
Assist in maintaining and updating the company's design system or style guide
Participate in design meetings, brainstorming sessions, and design critiques
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university or have graduated within one year of start date (June 2025)
Majoring in computer science, graphic design, interaction design or a related field
Have a basic working knowledge of Figma
Foundational understanding of UX and visual design principles

Procurement is a key contributor to company growth as we are responsible for optimizing costs and delivering monetary savings to the business. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to participate in a program which supports many business channels (IT, Servicing, Originations / Lending, Finance, Legal, Corporate) that allows the intern to be exposed to multiple people and processes of the company. The intern will be offered the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects ranging from analytics to hands-on production (contract drafting, issuing purchase orders).
The Procurement Analyst Intern will work with each category manager to ensure contracts are being executed in a timely manner , as well as assisting in identifying potential cost savings opportunities for each category.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
The analyst will support the Procurement function while learning the basics of goods & services purchasing , supplier negotiations, contract management and execution and budgetary impacts of third party spend . Duties to include:
* Run Financial analysis for supplier spend
* Prepare Executive reporting
* Complete Special Projects - review expiring requests, inactivating expired contracts, take action on depleted purchase orders (increase spend or terminate ) Manage contract repository and system of record
* Research and respond to Audit / Compliance requests Create training documents & workflows
* Update contract templates as required by Legal, Risk, Compliance, etc.
* Process low complexity requests (change orders, amendments, order forms, etc.)
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university or have graduated within one year of internship start (June 202 5 )

About the role:

**Ideal background:**
* 7+ years of experience in finance and/or risk data analytics.
* Strong knowledge of Interest risk / Market Risk / Liquidity concepts and basic accounting.

Within ICM Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), Funds Underwriting (UW) is a global team responsible for measuring, monitoring and controlling counterparty risk for Funds. To facilitate the CCB's wholesale lending activities, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated credit professional to join the NAM Funds Underwriting Analyst team to serve our Asset Management Company clients that manage traditional real money funds, hedge funds, and private equity funds. The position supports the team reporting to the ICM CCR NAM Funds Underwriting Analyst Team Lead and will based in Buffalo, NY.
The Funds UW Analyst facilitates the end-to-end lending process directly supporting the responsible Credit Officer. Funds UW is essential for the delivery of a wide range of financial solutions to Citi CCB clients, working in direct partnership with Relationship Managers and Independent Risk, to execute on the firm's and client's business objectives. This can include working capital solutions, term loans and M&A financing, treasury and liquidity management services, foreign exchange, trade finance and interest rate derivatives. The primary responsibilities of Funds UW include credit underwriting, due diligence, structuring and documentation, and portfolio monitoring. As part of the business and in direct partnership with relationship coverage bankers, Funds UW team provide thorough, objective analysis of the financial condition and credit worthiness of borrowers, including prevailing covered industry sector and product/market conditions, as well as the appropriate credit structure based on various risk considerations.
The Funds UW Analyst is responsible for supporting the underwriting and monitoring of a material amount of credit risk associated with capital deployed across a variety of lending products appropriate for commercial banking relationships. The Funds UW Analyst provides critical support with driving internal analytical work product that serves to underpin credit approval decisions and maintains ongoing credit oversight of the lending portfolio relationships through quarterly and/or annual reviews along with covenant and other reporting monitoring, as applicable. The Funds industry/specialty vertical requires developing knowledge of the unique sector/product drivers and key performance indicators to make well-informed credit underwriting decisions and proactively manage the portfolio based on a dynamic environment. The Funds UW Analyst assists with the production of sector and sub-segment insights for key internal and external stakeholders and develops the credit-specific risk assessments on new originations and portfolio requests.
The Funds UW Analyst role also requires the individual to develop an understanding of various Citi Wholesale Credit (WCR) and CCB-specific credit policies, processes, and procedures, and how to apply these concepts consistently in practice, including ensuring the portfolio is appropriately risk-rated and classified, properly secured (if applicable) and that early warning signs are established and proactively addressed.
An Analyst in ICM CCR Funds UW can contribute to strategic projects for NAM or Global initiatives and provide critical inputs that direct the future of credit formation within the CCB. Additionally, the Funds UW Analyst is expected to rapidly develop the necessary technical skills through training from various teams and forums across CCB and ICM to promote the development and application of credit skills.
Key Responsibilities

* Rapidly develop knowledge of Funds portfolio and industry, and create well-supported analysis that effectively balances risk and business objectives
* Ensure appropriate regulatory classification and minimizing net credit losses for covered portfolio, as well as identify emerging areas of concerns that should be escalated
* Produce the underlying analysis and workflow supporting underwriting requests for new-to-bank and existing credit relationships, including pre-screening opportunities, facilitate amendments and extensions, perform annual reviews and other credit requests, including the related diligence

* Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking, and improving fraud capture decision strategies.
* May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
* Generate and manage regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required in statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, or other analytical or quantitative discipline.
* 2+ years of experience in analytics, modeling, or relevant area in a Big Data environment with hands on coding within various traditional (SAS, SQL, etc.) and/or open source (i.e. Python, Impala, Hive, etc.) tools.
* Experience using traditional and advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms such as Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, Random Forests, etc. as well as Data visualization tools such as Tableau
* Excellent quantitative and analytic skills; ability to derive patterns, trends and insights, and perform risk/reward trade-off analysis.
* Experience analyzing large datasets; applying mathematical, statistical and quantitative analysis techniques to perform complex analyses and data mining.
* Ability to build effective presentations to communicate analytical findings to a wide array of audiences.
* Effective cross-functional project, resource, and stakeholder engagement and management, with ability to effectively drive collaboration across teams.
* Ability to make decisions independently with minimal guidance from management.

* Bachelors/University degree, Master's degree preferred
