What you will do This position performs electrical & instrumentation troubleshooting in a heavy industrial environment. Specific skills necessary include preventive maintenance on AC and DC motors including changing direction, inspecting, and testing brush gear and windings, troubleshooting, transformer ratings and overcurrent protection, connections for various transformers, calibration, proper repair, precision installation, successful start-up, and reliability of all related facility equipment. Instrument flow, level, pressure, temperatures. Hydraulic systems, analytical instrumentation, PID controls, loop tuning, open-loop and closed-loop control. Valves such as smart, solenoid, and pneumatic positioners. Control valves (application, sizing, and selection), actuators, and limit and position switches.
