MRC Global CEO and leadership

Kelly Youngblood is our Executive Vice President and will assume the role of Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on March 1, 2020 upon the retirement of James Braun. Kelly brings more than 30 years of extensive energy and finance expertise to MRC Global. Prior roles include CFO at BJ Services, the largest North American-focused pure-play pressure pumping services provider and Senior Vice President & CFO at Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. He has also held a variety of finance and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Halliburton, including Vice President of Investor Relations, where he was awarded Institutional Investor magazine’s Best Investor Relations for the Oil Services and Equipment Sector twice. Kelly is a CPA and graduate of Cameron University.

Prior to my role with MRC Global, I served as President and CEO and board Director for Key Energy Services, Inc. Previously, I was President and CEO and board Director for Atwood Oceanics, Inc., from 2009 until the company’s sale in October 2017. My earlier career included serving as Chief Operating Officer at Transocean and management roles at Nabors Industries, Enron Corp and McKinsey & Company. I began my career as a process engineer with ExxonMobil. I hold a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from Northwestern University, and I serve on the Board of Trustees of Spindletop Charities.

Elton Bond has served as senior vice president and chief accounting officer at our company since May 2011. From September 2009 to May 2011, he served as senior vice president and treasurer. Prior to that, he served as vice president of finance and compliance since December 2008. Before that, Mr. Bond was the director of finance and compliance since January 2007. He started his career with MRC Global as the acquisition development manager in April 2006. Prior to joining MRC Global, Mr. Bond was employed with Ernst & Young from 1997 to 2006, serving in a variety of roles, including senior manager of assurance and advisory business services. Mr. Bond received a B.B.A. from Marshall University in 1997. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the West Virginia Society of CPAs.
