EDUCATION :
Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold a MR advanced registration through ARRT or must obtain it within their first 12 months of employment. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
SKILLS/ABILITIES :
- Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.
- Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.

About the job:
The CT/MRI Technologist, performs a variety of CT / MRI procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
What you will do:
* Performs a variety of CT / MRI procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
* Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy.
* Ensures a high level of accuracy.
* Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
* Follows guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.
What we are looking for:
* Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program. Knowledge of Cross Sectional Anatomy and Pathology required.
* Licensure / Certification: Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible. Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required. CT / MRI registry preferred.

**Responsibilities**
+ Collect key information from the patient, family, provider, and nurses that are specific to the exam being performed in order to assist the provider in the proper diagnosis.
