The MRI Technologist performs MRI examinations in accordance with ACR accreditation practice guidelines and SARH protocols. The Technologist may also perform examinations, within the scope of practice, in which they hold additional certification and have determined competency.  The MRI Technologist works under the guidance and direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor.  Qualifications/Experience Education: Associate degree from an accredited school in radiology technology is required. Experience: 1 to 2 years' experience in as a Radiologic Technologist cross trained in MRI for at least six months is highly preferred.  Licenses/Certificate: ARRT certification is required. Additional ARMRIT or CAMRT certification is preferred.
