Contribute to ongoing clinical instruction and evaluation of radiation therapy students. * Varian/ARIA treatment environment, including brachytherapy. * External beam treatments including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and 3DCRT. * 4D CT sim, gated radiation therapy, and Vision RT/OSMS. *SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* * Registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in Radiation Therapy (T) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within 1 year of hire date. * Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. In this role: * You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed. * You will be loading and operating MedRad power injector. * You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. * You will be assisting interventional radiologists with procedures. * You will be maintaining a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens. * You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.
