Our Radiology Technologist-to-CT Technologist Training Program is a 10-week training program sponsored entirely by HCA. Through this program, selected candidates with current Radiology Tech credentials will learn all the needed skills to advance to a certified CT Tech role through online didactic instruction as well as clinical experiences at the facility in which they are employed. This HCA-sponsored program includes all testing, fees, course and training materials. Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the department supervisor, assists the Technologist efficient work flow in the department and with the comfort and care of patient.
* Assists Imaging Technologists.
* Completes appropriate history forms when necessary.
* Stocks rooms with required supplies.
* Helps move patients to and from exam tables.
* Transports patients.
* Makes sure patients are comfortable while waiting.
* Demonstrates professional behavior and etiquette in all interactions with physicians, managers, coworkers, and patients
* Assists in keeping department clean and orderly.
* Demonstrates knowledge of telephone system, telephone etiquette, and proper telephone transfer
* Demonstrates knowledge of scheduling patients
* Demonstrates appropriate communication skills
* Promotes a positive image of the Radiology Department
* Demonstrates a knowledge in calling and responding to the facilities codes
What qualifications you will need:
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
* Candidates with one-year experience in this field are preferred
* BCLS (American Heart Association) required within hire.
