Attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) - OR - the successful completion of an accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and attainment of primary certification from the ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
Must have a minimum of one year of MRI experience.
Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.

Properly identify anatomy and evaluate images for technical quality. Apply the principles of MR safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others and aware of the principles of ALARA. Assist physicians in performing procedures.
Qualifications
* Successful completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Radiation Therapy and attainment of post-primary certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) - OR - the successful completion of an accredited program in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and attainment of primary certification from the ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT.
* Registration with the ARRT, ARMRIT or CAMRT and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
* Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
