Provides care for physically and mentally compromised patients. Prioritizes patients in work flow appropriately. Proficient in assisting the patient care team in MR sedation cases. Monitors compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and policy requirements and MRI safety policy and procedures. Performs MRI procedures on all age groups in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures. Performs routine and complex MRI procedures in accordance with established safety and quality standards and the special needs of patients. Educational/Experience Requirements: Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in AMA approved educational institution Ability to complete initial (or as directed) competency on IV injections Able to complete all MR examination types including cardiac pace maker, pediatric and anesthesia supported cases.
