    TLC Healthforce

Mri technologist job in Pocatello, ID

Step into a pivotal radiology role as a Cath Lab Tech on a travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho, beginning February 2, 2026. This is your opportunity to blend advanced interventional imaging expertise with hands-on patient care in a dynamic setting where every procedure advances outcomes and every case reinforces your professional trajectory. You'll work alongside seasoned cardiology teams, support physicians through complex interventions, and apply state-of-the-art imaging to guide precise catheter-based therapies. The impact you make in the cath lab translates into improved lives, shorter recovery times, and a deeper mastery of hemodynamic imaging. While you push your clinical acumen, you'll also be invited to explore Idaho's remarkable landscapes-where the rugged beauty of desert canyons sits near evergreen trails, hot springs, and mountain vistas that reward your downtime after high-stakes days. Pocatello offers a welcoming environment with a growing medical community, robust patient volumes, and opportunities to connect with fellow technologists, nurses, and physicians who share a commitment to excellence. In this role, you'll gain exposure to a broad spectrum of interventional procedures, including diagnostic angiography, device deployments, and post-procedural care coordination. The assignment also provides the chance to rotate across related facilities within the network, expanding your experience with different equipment platforms, protocols, and team dynamics. For those who relish variety, the program supports placements at additional U.S. locations, delivering the flexibility to experience distinct communities-while maintaining continuity of professional development and credential upkeep. Idaho's culture values outdoor recreation, education, and a balanced work-life approach, making it an ideal setting to sustain energy, focus, and compassion over the long term. In this Cath Lab Tech role, your core responsibilities will include assisting with catheterization procedures under the supervision of physicians, setting up and calibrating imaging equipment, and ensuring sterile technique and patient safety throughout every case. You'll monitor hemodynamics, manage contrast administration, and support rapid decision-making during urgent interventions. You'll be responsible for image optimization, documentation, and the smooth handoff of patients to recovery teams. The position offers meaningful pathways for professional growth-opportunities to refine complex radiologic techniques, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and develop leadership skills within a multidisciplinary interventional lab. You'll be encouraged to pursue continuing education credits, earn specialized certifications as they align with cath lab needs, and contribute to program-wide clinical protocols that elevate patient care. This assignment comes with competitive benefits designed to reward your expertise and reliability. You'll receive a weekly pay range of $2,273-$2,410, reflecting the value of your skills in a demanding specialty. In addition to compensation, the program provides housing assistance to simplify relocation logistics and reduce out-of-pocket costs, with extension opportunities that let you grow with the team beyond the initial term. A bonus potential recognizes outstanding performance and contributions to case volumes, patient satisfaction, and team collaboration. Comprehensive support is offered 24/7: a dedicated travel program team is available around the clock to assist with scheduling, credentialing, travel arrangements, and on-site onboarding, ensuring you feel secure and supported wherever you practice. While the listed pay and hours are estimates, your final package and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process. The company behind this travel opportunity is committed to empowering its staff through clear pathways for career advancement, mentorship from seasoned leaders, and a culture that values collaboration, integrity, and clinical excellence. You'll join a network that understands the demands of interventional radiology and radiology allied roles, and that actively invests in your professional growth while fostering a supportive, respectful, and inclusive work environment. The organization emphasizes work-life balance, transparent feedback, and a team-driven approach that makes it easier to develop specialty skills, expand your professional portfolio, and build lasting relationships with clinicians across the country.
