The MRI Technologist prepares patients for testing (including thorough screening questioning), assists the radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms, and covers call duty, as assigned.

Operates MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, independent consoles, physiological patient monitors, and cardiac gating/monitoring equipment.
Uses equipment to properly adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis.
Demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
Performs daily safety and quality control checks for the system.
Sends images to PACS for interpretation.
Transfers images to independent console for further manipulation.
Reformats and performs post processing of images for radiologist interpretation.

Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoot issues with cable networks.

An Ophthalmic Technician is a valuable asset to an Ophthalmologist as they assist in providing excellent patient care to the patients during their visit. This employee is able to handle a wide range of duties while using equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Ophthalmologist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone)
Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
Practice urgency at all times with patient's time, as well as doctor's time and schedule
Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
Verify patient information by interviewing patient
Recording medical history, current medications and confirming purpose of visit
Records all data in the patient's Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Checks condition of patient's eyes by observing pupils, muscles, visual acuity, and extraocular movements
Required skills include: dilation, refraction, pressures, and performing a variety of diagnostic tests including visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refractor and topography
Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms and ocular medications
General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager
QUALIFICATIONS

The Special Procedure Technologist is responsible for providing optimum levels of patient care during procedures under the direction of the Catheterization Lab Medical Director, manager, and supervisor. * Prepare patients and laboratory for procedures, observe/record patient condition, vital signs, and provide direct patient care pre, intra, and post procedure.
* Set up lab using sterile technique, prepare sterile pack of instruments and catheters, and drape equipment and patient to maintain sterile fields, prepare and calibrate equipment for procedure.
* Position patient on x-ray/Catheterization table, attach EKG, and provide comfort and teaching.
* Provide care appropriate to the age of patients undergoing catheterization (young adult to geriatric) and identify each patient requirements and age specific needs.
* Observe patient for possible discomfort, shortness of breath, chest pain, arrhythmias, allergic reactions, etc. Check vital signs as needed.
* Recognize any unusual patient condition and initiate emergency measures including: oxygen therapy, suction, CPR, defibrillation, etc.
* Balance and calibrate fluid filled pressure transducer system and micro-tip catheters for pressure flow measurements.
* Monitor intravascular/intracardiac pressure and EKG readings displayed on monitor/recorder, interpret results, and report any variances from normal to the physician.

* Set up and operate power injector for delivering accurate amount of contrast as desired flow rates.

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is looking for a Radiology Technologist Assistant to join our supportive, hard-working team.
Radiology Department, Part Time, Variable Hours on weekday evenings and weekends
Pay rate start at $16.75/hr+ based on years of service to hospital
Must currently be enrolled in a Radiology Technologist program.
