MINIMUM SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIREMENTS:
• The Technologist must be specially trained in M.R.I. and have a good understanding of cross-sectional anatomy. Prior experiences in C.T. or X-ray is helpful.

• Performs routine and complex MRI examinations.
• Reviews images to ensure quality standards are met.

• Uses Electronic Health Record to arrive and depart patients for scheduled and unscheduled examinations.

• Provides after-hours on call imaging support for the Emergency Department and inpatient units.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Experience: At least 2 years independently operating MRI equipment. Experience operating MRI equipment, producing and processing exam images, and assisting with fluoroscopy and special MRI procedures.

- Performs routine and complex MRI examinations.
- Reviews images to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications
High School Diploma
Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technologist training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and/or the JCERT
Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) is required
A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred
Previous Siemens equipment experience is preferred
