Licensed by Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) by first day of employment is required. Associates degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate from AMA approved school; Bachelor's degree preferred. Job Duties Review physician orders for accuracy, diagnosis, and applicability to selected CT protocol. Screen patients for contrast allergies, contraindications, and appropriateness that would prohibit or modify the CT exam. Communicate with Radiologists to discuss stat/urgent findings. If modification of a CT protocol is necessary consult with radiologist to determine appropriate CT exam, and document changes as appropriate in electronic health record. Ensure other resources such as nursing, anesthesia, and scheduling are in order. Interviews patient (two patient identifier), conducts patient screening and obtains medical history pertaining to procedure's clinical criteria. Explains procedure and instructs patient on necessary requirements needed to provide diagnostic images. Answers questions, screening, and administration for oral and IV contrast for relevant exams. Administers intravenous injections of contrast material as appropriate, while observing patients for adverse reactions. Assists the physician as needed in performing procedures. Ensures that images and information are properly documented with patient identification data and appropriate labeling. Utilizes technical knowledge and skills to perform procedures accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with age specific criteria. Completes exam charges and image documentation in a timely manner. Performs CT exams ensuring that patient meets radiation safety requirements to ALARA principles . Assist patient in dressing for exam and attends to patient's physical well-being while transporting to and from exam room and positioning for exam. Instructs/communicates with patient and/or patient's family (as appropriate) regarding the tests to be performed and evaluates the patient's ability to tolerate. Quality Control ~ Performs QC testing and reports problems with CT system and workstations to the service engineer/biomed, with additional correspondence sent to the physicist and imaging leadership. Maintains various QA compliances including ACR requirements (ex. daily, monthly, yearly QC) and archives. Participates in accreditation imaging requirements. Must be able to lift 40-50lbs. Responds to inquiries/calls/emails in a timely and professional manner. Utilizes the organizational culture behaviors to include PACT and AIDET. Actively participates in codes and rapid responses. Communicates shift hand off regarding workflow issues with equipment or pending exams with oncoming staff. Engages in equitable distribution of departmental workloads. Actively participates in providing orientation and training for new hires and students ensuring that procedures are performed according to set standards. Functions in the department as a part of an interdisciplinary team, and collaborates in the care and service delivery process of patient care through effective communication with other service lines. Prioritizes exams with scheduling exams to ensure smooth workflow, minimize wait times and address stat requests. Adheres to hospital policies, procedures, competencies, regulatory compliance, infection control, hospital education, new yearly metrics/department goals, patient satisfaction, and fiscally responsible with regards to equipment, supplies scheduling, overtime, etc. Maintains patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and ensures that all processes and procedures are maintained to secure and protect all workstations in all work areas. Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Work is performed primarily in a hospital or hospital clinic environment. This role works across multiple clinic locations with mileage reimbursement provided. Key Responsibilities Scrub for minimally invasive vascular procedures, including PAD interventions, venous procedures and some IR procedures such as Spinal Cord Stimulators, Liver Biopsies, and Y-90s. Prepare and maintain procedural rooms, instruments, and sterile fields. Assist physicians during angiograms, angioplasty/stenting, ablations, thrombectomy, and other similar cases. Support equipment setup (C-arm, ultrasound, IVUS) and ensure supply readiness. Collaborate with RNs and tech teams to ensure efficient patient flow. Travel between assigned ASC and OBL sites as scheduled (one site per day). Qualifications relevant IR/vascular/Cath Lab experience. 1+ year scrub experience in vascular or interventional procedures preferred. BLS required; ACLS preferred. Duties & Responsibilities: Act as Chiller Technician performing routine, and unscheduled, maintenance and repair of industrial mechanical systems including air cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handler units, valves, fan coil units, variable air volume systems, etc. Diagnose and repair of machine and equipment defects including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components related to these systems. Also includes diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully to customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct. Oversee installation and operation of various mechanical systems. Assist in defining and developing the training, materials, and tools needed to support our chiller/HVAC maintenance business. Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be washed on a regular basis. Proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment shall always be maintained in the vehicle. Maintain all relevant documentation related to all services and tasks performed, including make, model, serial number, necessary test measurements, and pictures, as necessary. Provide detailed, complete, and timely paperwork as required. Identify and report to supervisor/manager potential business, including site visits, conference calls with subcontractors and cost estimation. Additional tasks as required, may include but are limited to: Scheduling and coordinating services with the customer and vendors/subcontractors. Provide updates to communicate to dispatch, parts procurement, supervisors, and managers, as needed, to keep company and customers informed about work progressions Willingness and ability to complete professional and technical training. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience and or Certification in York Centrifugal and Air-Cooled Chillers preferred. 3 years of experience on 1,000 - 2,000 ton units preferred. Must possess personal tools, or have the ability to purchase those tools upon hire. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask.
