Job Description:
Evaluates prescribed imaging and makes requested changes within 24 hours, accurately documenting treatment information in the patient electronic record and utilizing the record and verify system.
Reviews all new starts for consistency prior to treatment, verifying patient positioning and field orientation, and checking the record and verify system for prescription, treatment parameters, doses, treatment accessories, and monitor units.
Performs morning Quality Assurance (QA) on the treatment unit, assessing whether all equipment is operating according to physics policy and calling the appropriate person immediately after equipment malfunctions.
Assists in maintaining department supplies and provides supervised education experiences for students that fulfill curriculum requirements of the academic institution.
As required by facility, participates in after hours on-call coverage, maintains competency with afterhours treatment coverage, performs 2D treatment calculations, and works with minimal direction and supervision.

X-Ray Technologist Duties:
Operate x-ray equipment to capture radiographic images as per orders.
Ensure the quality of imaging and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Report damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment to management promptly.
Medical Assistant Duties:
Perform vital sign checks and diagnostic testing (e.g., Pulmonary Function Tests, EKGs, ABIs, Audiograms, Smell tests, Vision screening).
Screen for contraindications and ensure the accuracy of test results.
Assist providers by identifying when additional medical attention is required.
Lab Testing & Phlebotomy:
Collect and label blood and urine samples, ensuring patient safety and proper identification.
Use proper techniques for sample storage, transport, and processing, including centrifuging blood samples.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy station, adhering to infection control protocols.
Administrative Duties:
Schedule appointments and process test results with a focus on privacy and HIPPA compliance.
Assist with ordering supplies, clinic housekeeping, and managing DaySmart entries.
Aid in chart preparation and chart review for providers.
Assist in training new staff as needed.
Clinic Upkeep:
General housekeeping tasks and maintaining cleanliness throughout the clinic.
Ensure proper clinical attire and hygiene.
