Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications prior to them entering the magnetic field and thoroughly research all implants, devices, etc. Perform daily QA for each magnet; maintain patient log; enter clinical information. Perform injections as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA guidelines. Conduct patient safety screening prior to exam. Required Qualifications: * ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT * Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire. * BLS from the American Heart Association * Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification * 2 years of MRI Tech experience Preferred Qualifications: * Hospital and Cardiac MRI experience * Experience with Siemens Aera scanner At Scripps Health, you will experience the pride, support and respect of an organization that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the nation's Top 100 Places to Work.
