He/She prepares and operates fluoro/recording equipment to produce specialized fluoro studies of the coronary and peripheral vascular systems for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Technologist ensures accuracy and realizes errors in asepsis procedures could result in injury to the patient; and, improper calibrations or faulty maintenance and operation of equipment could result in a life threatening situation.
