**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The MRITechnologist performs MRI examinations with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience, at least 1 year of X-Ray experience preferred.
Required Registration/Certification:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R), required.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT), if not registered must be obtained within 1 year in this position.
Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is .
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
