What you will need:
License: ARRT- MR
Education: Certification or Associate?s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
Certification: CPR required
Experience: Previous MRITechnologist experience preferred

What you will do:
Operates MRI equipment to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

CT technologists, operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary

Job Summary:

* Positions and handles patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, tact, courtesy, patients, and safety.
* Maintains an awareness of patient's physical and emotional condition, recognizes and reports adverse signs to the physicians.
* Assures proper patient identification on all films and complete all paperwork applicable to the examination, i.e. clinical information, history, financial data, insurance data and technical worksheet data, accurately in the abs assists in screening and scheduling of patients.
* Performs office procedure of clerical support personnel and assists other technologists and clinical personnel as needed.

* Ensures research regulations are adhered to, ACUC approvals in place, material transfer agreements properly executed, and that radiation and lab safety requirements are up to date and implemented.
* Point of contact for starting new studies, scheduling scanning time, establishing scanning protocols, and resolving facility issues and safety issues
* Compile information for CTI leadership
Supervision
* Trains, directs, assigns duties to & supervises other staff and students
* Provides instruction to lab users on technically complex procedures, equipment & instruments. Train and certify users for independent human and phantom MR scanning. Train users on facility policies and MRI safety.
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in MRI scanning.
Experience with MR data collection and image post processing is required.
Board Certified MRI
Basic Life Support Certified
IDNS certified

The MRITechnologist uses magnetic resonance imaging scanners and related equipment to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. Minimum Requirements: + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the radiology field + Registered with the ARRT; if required by state regulations or contract specification.
+ One (1) one year of experience in related field preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
