The Opportunity
Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced orthopedic environment, delivering high-quality imaging services while collaborating closely with providers and clinical staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-directed, and passionate about patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician protocols and industry standards
Ensure patient safety by properly screening for contraindications and providing clear instructions
Position patients accurately and operate MRI equipment for optimal imaging
Monitor patients during scans and respond appropriately to any issues
Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment concerns
Maintain a clean, safe, and functional MRI suite
Accurately document all procedures in the EMR system
Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies and procedures
If licensed, assist with X-ray imaging following safety and positioning protocols
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to support workflow
Qualifications:
Active ARRT (MRI) Certification (Required)
Tennessee Medical X-Ray Operator License (Preferred)
Graduate of an accredited radiology program
Current BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal imaging and MRI safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
Comfortable working in a dynamic, walk-in orthopedic setting
Schedule & Location:
Hours will vary based on clinic needs and patient volume

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
