Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide expert direct care within our Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology departments. In this role, you will act as the primary clinical coordinator, managing high-acuity patients through complex procedural workflows while ensuring seamless interdisciplinary communication. Key Responsibilities Procedural Nursing:Provide direct patient care during cardiac and IR interventions in accordance with 2026 healthcare protocols. Care Coordination:Serve as the lead coordinator across medical disciplines to implement, monitor, and adjust comprehensive patient care plans. Clinical Monitoring:Assess, record, and communicate real-time patient condition updates; execute physician and nursing orders with precision. Discharge Planning:Evaluate and coordinate patient discharge requirements in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Schedule & Call Requirements On-Call Commitment:Minimum of16 on-call shifts per 6-week period. Weekend Rotation:Mandatory on-call coverage forevery third weekend. Qualifications Licensure:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). The CT Technician is responsible for performing routine to complex CT procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols under the direction/supervision of a radiologist where a wide variety of exams are regularly performed. This position can be part-time performing CT scans a couple days per week or full-time if candidate is also open to performing additional radiology duties. Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 Responsibilities: Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted. Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Additional duties as assigned Requirements Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology Program Required . Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT) Required . Must have at least 2 years of experience with Computed Tomography (CT) preferred . IV Access & Contrast Injection Certified or willing to get certified within 3-months of hire, required Ability to produce high quality special imaging with little supervision.
