Work Schedule:
Monday - Wednesday, 10-hour shifts
Alternating Saturday or Sunday, 8-hour shifts
6 hours of overtime compensation weekly
The ideal candidate must possess:
ARRT Certification (MR) Registered

This is a non-exempt hourly position with possible earnings of $149k - $157k/year with a $20,000 sign-on bonus, plus relocation and travel allowance for longer commutes.
The hourly range for this role is $70/hr. to $74/hr., with daily guaranteed overtime (3-10 hour shifts) however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.

Job Description Summary:
The general MRItechnologist is a journey-level position or up to 2-years' experience working in either a clinic or acute care hospital facility. The general MRItechnologist working in conjunction with a more experienced technologist is also under the supervision of the Lead MRITechnologist. MRI experience within the last three years is preferred.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in MRI Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
Prior work experience with the GE 1.5T, GE 3.0T, and SIEMENS MAGNETOM SKYRA within the past 24 months is preferred
Prior VA experience is desirable

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
Active ARRT, ARMRIT or NMTCB certification
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Proven experience as a MRITechnologist, with a strong understanding of MRI imaging principles and protocols
Experience with with PACS systems (AMBRA preferred)
Deep familiarity with MRI equipment (Siemens preferred)
Experience with Whole Body MRI (not mandatory)
Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics and IV administration

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and x-ray experience, current ARRT and California licensure, for night shifts.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a hospital CT unit
Performs both CT and x-ray exams as part of daily responsibilities
Night shift schedule: Friday and Saturday from 8:00 PM-8:00 AM, Sunday from 8:15 PM-8:15 AM
Works independently from 12:00 AM-7:30 AM, with staff support during orientation and on-call technologist available during those hours
Travelers may float to other locations within the system if census is low
Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
Performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality diagnostic images
Expected to gain patient confidence through competent assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding privacy and safety
Average 1-5 hours of non-billable online modules during orientation
Modules completed through e-learning and tracked during orientation
Return staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
50-mile travel radius requirement applies
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT and x-ray
Current ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification from AHA required
California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license required
Fluoroscopy permit required
Must have all certifications and valid state license in hand at time of consideration
