Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation.
Prepare and position patients and select anatomic parameters accurately.
Deliver appropriate patient treatment plan in collaboration with physician and dosimetrist.
Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions.
Maintain and adjusts necessary equipment, including linear accelerator.

Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by a physician. This role involves day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care within a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What You Will Do in This Role:

A Brief Overview

What you will do
Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods..
Assists in the development of others through guidance and teaching. Promotes professional practice of all members of the radiological services team.
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment. Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.
Demonstrates professional work behavior and excellent customer service routinely in all interactions.
Education Qualifications
Technical Degree or Diploma Radiology
Experience Qualifications
No prior work experience
Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of radiographic equipment and imaging procedures.
Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers.
Basic knowledge of radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred).
Licenses and Certifications
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association required
Registered Radiologic Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists preferred
Supervision Provided by this Position
There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this job, except that the incumbent may occasionally demonstrate various job responsibilities to other Associates. The incumbent will observe and instruct student technologists.
Physical Demands
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.

Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by a physician. This role involves day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care within a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
What You Will Do in This Role:
Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
What Qualifications You Will Need:
Education:Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Certifications/Licenses:
Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
MRI registered or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
American Heart BLS (Basic Life Support).
Experience: One year of experience preferred.
