• Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol
• Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging, and state-specific licensing when required.
MRI Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Expected to perform MR conditional pacemaker studies with Medtronic tablet device and ACLS RN present to monitor the patient.
The required job qualifications include:
· Currently registered as an MRITechnologist, or will obtain MRI registry within six months of hire date · Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy · CurrentregistrybytheAmericanRegistryofRadiologicTechnologists · Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology · One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred
